Friday, May 26, 2006 Worn Out Ah..... Finally my working week is over. It has been a long long week. My day will start at 7am in the morning, start work at 8.30am n end at 6pm. It has become my everyday routine n it's becoming mundane. Today is the last day at work for the NUS pharmacy students on attachment. Although it was a short two weeks, we clicked pretty well with all of them n crapped a lot during work. I guess I won't get to see them until I go into NUS in August. A new batch is going to join us next week. I wonder will they be as fun loving as this batch that left us. I gave Adeline a Rocher chocolate before she left this evening. She's most of all, my very first "disciple" while working in the pharmacy. Blur at times, she's a very clever girl. I could see her effort n dedication in her work. I reckon she'll be a good pharmacist in future. I watched X-Men:The last Stand last night with Daniel n Zheng Rong n his brothers. It has been a month since I last saw them. Daniel is getting fatter!! Gosh, this best friend of mine definitely gotta start exercising to shave off the extra weight. I called him a fatty; he called me an Ah Beng. Apparently, my new hair colour gave him the impression that I'm an Ah beng. Haha, it's rubbish la. I only gave my hair a light dye, nothing dramatic. Ok, back to X-Men. Although this final part isn't as action packed as the previous two, it's very much an exciting movie. I've always liked the Wolverine character when I watched X-Men cartoon during my younger years. The muscles n animal personality that Hugh Jackman portrayed in the three instalments was flawless. U can't get a better actor than this Australian to act as Wolverine. It's Saturday tomorrow, n I think it's time I do some work out after being stagnant for so long. Hopefully the weather will be good. Bright sunshine is all I ask for. Then it's the pharmacy gathering in the evening. Gonna have a BBQ party. Till then, goodnite folks. |
