Beijing Olympics 2008



It makes me wonder why is a foreign talent holding the Singapore flag for our Olympic team. In this case, the person is table tennis player Li Jiawei, who ironically, was born in Beijing, China. What's worse was the way she held the flag, the flag which I was taught to respect and never to let it touch the floor. N there she is, happily DRAGGING my country's flag on the ground.

I hope she gets blasted by the media or the general public will write into the media asking for a public apology from her when she comes back "home".
