RADSBeen in school from Friday to Monday doing work for a professor. Apparently, he had a project that was shelved due to many constraints back in 1997-2002. However, due to these obstacles being removed recently, the project is back on, n he needs people to help him input a huge amount of data into the system's database. So here I come in, helping him get the system up with a few of my friends, n I think the system now is pretty much well sorted up.
It's called RADS, short form for Route ADvisory System. Currently in Singapore, there's no online portal dat's capable of incorporating the MRT, SBStransit, SMRT bus service n walking in planning to get to a specific place in Singapore. The prof's system has somehow succeeded in doing this. Although it's still at its infant stage, I believe it's good n intelligent enough, though there are still some bugs around. If u wana noe more, go to the project's website below.
http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~leonghw/RADS-Info.htmlTo try out the trail system, go to the link below. Try not to input short forms, as the system's not that intelligent yet due to Google's part. It won't be able to find NUS, but it can find National University of Singapore.
