Thursday, July 31, 2008 Zoo Went to the zoo a few weeks back after not stepping into it since dunno when.. I guess primary school?? Bfast at Causeway Point Entrance Reptiles at the entrance These animals swim the backstroke style.. Fucking smelly piggy-look-alike animals I woke them up with a fruit seed thrown near to them Very impressive white tiger Testicles of tigers.. Hoho The hippo Fat fellow The wild pig.. Big bird.. Sesame Street is a lying programme.. Who says big bird is yellow n huge?? Kangaroos Smaller one White tailed monkeys An animal show.. Pool Performer sea lion Jumping outta water Nice little slimy fellow Asian Elephant Kinda small, so much smaller than those i saw on Animal Planet 3 of them.. Log carrying.. MQ elephant Me elephant Croc Some blue bird -- Squirrels Sleeping Leopard Cat Awake Leopard Cat Reptile Upclose Giant Tortoise Nice vegetarian meal eh This one is fucking huge, weighing 270kg.. Approximate size is abt the size of the tires belonging to an army 5-tonner.. Rattle snake These are the babies of the Giant Tortoise.. Sleeping Leopard n Jaguar The Lion King Girrafes.. Dunno called wad.. World's fastest bird, the Ostrich The fastest animal on land, the Cheetah Rhino.. Rhino shit.... It's as thick as as my thigh.. Poor little polar bear.. It looks like it's dying.. I mean it.. The White Faced Monkey.. It's quite a nice trip overall, but I have to say the zoo looks kinda dead.... Nothing much to see, even the animals look bored without much companionship in their own den.. One Cheetah, One Leopard, One Jaguar, One Polar Bear, One Komodo Dragon etc etc.. If i'm a tourist, I'll be so disappointed in spending $16.50 on the tickets. One very concerning scene I saw was the Polar Bear.. According to my sis, they used to haf 3 of them or something, one died, one dunno wad happened, n it's now left with one.. When I was there, i could see black patches on the bear.. It's not moving much, not swimming, not even interested in the ppl looking at it. It was simply licking its body while lying down.. I fear for its life, n i hope the zoo will be doing something abt it rather than watch it die... Perhaps it's the weather, if it is, please send it off to somewhere cooler.. After this trip, I guess it's gonna be another decade or when my children grow old enuff then I'll step into the zoo again. |
