Pharmacy BBQ

Saturday is over once again. Didn't go for a jog for anything when i woke up late at 10.30am this morning. It's great to wake up realising that I don't have to work today. Had prata for breakfast n I slacked at home doing nothing but playing NFS:MW. It was nice n sunny intially, but it started having thunderstorm in the noon. Heck, I thought the BBQ must be spilt with the rain.

Thank god it was short n the rain stopped after an hour. Picked up Adrian n Rasmi before heading down to Ang Mo Kio for the pharmacy gathering. We were going to have a BBQ at one of the pharmacists' new house, the Granduer8 condominium. The condo is nice with a big pool, but the unit is pretty small. The BBQ started in the evening n me n Adrian had lots of fun starting the fire. Two ex-army boys starting the fire made the women think NS had made us more useful. Haha, nah, i already know how to do that in secondary school. NS taught me nothing anyway.

Ate lots of stuff, crapped a lot with Rasmi n had a lot of fun. Nice ppl n nice food made the BBQ such an enjoyable exerience. Thinking that I'm gonna leave them in a month's time made me feel sad. Pharmacist Azar is leaving us soon too. She's a nice colleague, with a lot of patience n some sense of humour, a rarity when u're working in a stressful n busy environment in the pharmacy.

The BBQ ended around 9pm n we all headed back home. Sent Selena back to her remote house at Balestier n then back to Tampines with Adrian. Went past the site of the Marina IR along th way n I could see many piling machines already waiting to start the contruction at the site. I can't wait to see how the whole Marina will look like in 2009 when all the development is completed..
