    Phuket Day Two

Burt, Jun Liang, Wai Loong n me woke up at 8am n went for the breakfast in the hotel cafeteria. Nice western breakfast, Burt ate like a hungry pig. Wahaha.. We thought we're the early birds, but actually the rest of them already woke up n had their meal at 7am. Apparently, they had trouble falling asleep. We had a real sumptuous breakfast, one of the best I've had.

Had a short rest after our meal, n we hit the beach again!! Woohoo~ The weather was as sunny as ever. Nine of us went for the sun, leaving Joyce sleeping in the room. Heck, we were busy taking photos n playing volleyball. In fact, we spent most of the time dipping in the sea water to avoid the scorching sun.

Played till late morning, went back to hotel n had a refreshing bath. Our shoulders are starting to show little signs of sunburn by now. Then, we went for lunch at a little restaurant named "Hole in the Wall". Wai Loong n Burt saw it the day before n recommended it to us since the food is a lot cheaper than what we ate ystd. The food was good, but the waiting time was pathetic. It was taking forever to come n we were all famished.

It was back to the hotel after lunch. The weather was especially hot that day n we were pretty tired after the beach outing in the morning. The rest played poker card games at Daniel's room while I went back to my comfortable room for a sleep. The air-con is such an indispensable equipment in a place like Phuket.

When I woke up, it was already evening n the sun setting. Went for dinner at Bangla Street, in this pasta restaurant called "The Pizza Company". The pizza was delicious n we had our fill, chatting n laughing at the dining table. And then, it was shopping time!! Haha, we found this shop selling nice Billabong t-shirts at only 150baht(S$6.30) each. Stayed at the shop for pretty long, n WeiLiang was chatting with the shop owner about the striptease n Thai Girl shows. Haha, after the chat, he had a better idea of the pricing n stuff. So yeah, the 10 of us went for the striptease bar at midnight.

The bar was smoky n there were quite a lot of young Japanese males. The Thai girls were juz dancing at the stage, each having a pole to themselves. I saw this dancer, probably less than 20 by her looks. I stared at her, n she did the same. Haha.. I kept my stare for about 10seconds n looked away. Hai.. I pity her quite a bit. Poverty drove her to this trade I guess. Nothing interesting, we each had a bottle of Heineken n left after an hour.

Back to the hotel, we were dead beat. But they still continued to play poker cards at Daniel's room. I went back n had a bath to remove the smelly cigarette smell on my body. Feeling much fresher, I watched the TV while I waited for the Liverpool-Benfica Champions League match to start at 2.45am. When the match finally started, I was already half asleep, but upon seeing the high tempo of the game, I woke up. Burt n Chye Soon came to my room to join in the game watching, but when Simao Sambrosa scored with a fabulous strike on the 36th minute, I went under the blanket n fell asleep. I know the match is probably over. Liverpool can't freaking find the net on a regular basis. The European Champs is out of the competition. Gdnite..
