    Seletar Chalet

Haha, u won't believe what I did in camp for these 2 days. I did three things. Eat, Sleep & Play. Seriously, that was what I did. When I suddenly appeared in camp ystd morning, everyone was so surprised, even my sergeants welcome me back. They were all saying "Wai Lay, finally back already ah?" haha, yes, I received a lot of pats on my shoulders. There were quite a lot of changes in camp. New soldiers were posted in n I was seeing many unfamiliar faces around camp.

N for once, I wore the green army uniform again. it feels weird though. I dunno why they still want us back in camp. There was absolutely nothing to do. No more training, n more nothing. I simply stayed in the bunk the whole day lying on my bed, either sleeping or lying there day-dreaming. When night falls, I watched TV the whole night till 11pm then I went to bed. As for today, there was sports & games in the morning, but I can't play any game, so I was sitting by the sidelines watching my platoon mates play my favourite soccer game. Hai.. I gonna miss the days where we can play soccer juz anytime.

For the rest of today, I was playing Monopoly board game with my bunk mates. Me n Samuel were bickering the whole day again. Haha, we're such a fun pair of nemesis. Both of us juz can't stop criticizing each other.

So yeah, that was how I spent my 2 days in camp. My bunk mates were saying that I'm like coming back for a chalet trip. N ya, I wonder why the food these 2 days were so good. Last night's dinner was western food, this morning's breakfast was my fav roti prata n lunch was the yummy prawn noodles. Haha.. I guss I haven't eaten camp food for so long, they taste so much better now.

Nah, I'm not saying I miss camp. I'll miss my camp mates that's for sure. I'm going back there again for my body check up(FFI) this Thursday, then next Wednesday will be my last parade in the army. My life as a soldier is drawing to an end. It will be another milestone of my life completed.
