Down Under

Is anyone still here? I'm fast forgetting about this private space of mine, sorry to disappoint. My current location is \Australia Victoria state, an old town called Ballarat. Nope I'm not here for a holiday, I'm here to have my flight training done. As of now I've been here for 7 weeks already, and there's roughly another 15 weeks to go at least, to have all my training completed before returning to Singapore.

This is the very first time I've left home for so long, but good thing that I'm not alone with all my course mates with me going through this together. Flight training here isn't easy with the turbulent weather conditions that I have to get used to in the tiny plane called C172S. Small it may be, it actually is a very fun plane to fly.

I'm practically living the dream right now doing what I enjoy the most, although I do miss home. Spending all the festive periods away from my family in a foreign country will be quite an experience. It's during this period you appreciate what your family does for you.

Over here, I have to worry about every single thing. Doing my laundry, cooking all my meals, doing all the cleaning up, it gets very weary after a while. I can't wait to be able to dabao again from the hawker centre where I can get cheap and yummy local food. The carrot cake, bak chor mee, roti prata etc etc oh goshhhhh I'm feeling hungry already.
