Well I guess sometimes people say things which they do not mean it, when they're frustrated. It is wrong, but we should cut her some slack. This has been the problem of Singapore lately.

Being overcrowded with influx of foreigners, all the pent up frustrations need an outlet, n many found it through social media. But wad these ppl didnt realise is that such platforms are public; anyone can see it. So it is crucial that u screen wad u're blurting out online before u actually type it out. It is too late when it comes back n haunt u.

Oh. n one more thing. I feel that ppl should make as many frens with ppl from different ethnic groups so as to interact n understand them better. If u keep to your own group, u lack the understanding of different cultures n end up being one-dimensional, and in some cases, racist.





UPDATE: CNA has reported that Amy Cheong as been sacked by NTUC in the wake her posting insensitive remarks in social media. Sigh... Sometimes it simply takes a moment of folly to get urself into hot soup. I hope she wun get into trouble with the law now.
