Monday, August 30, 2010 YOG Canoe-Kayak KJ text me one day n asked whether I'm interested to go watch a Youth Olympic Game event. I was so glad she remembered me n the rest of the kayaking team after not seeing her since like JC graduation?? Dat's like 6 freaking yrs!! Got the free tix from her n asked the rest of the team to come along. It was the Canoe-Kayak event, an activity I was so engrossed in during my JC days. I used to be tanned like charcoal n I could do 3 sets of 20 pull-ups. Now?? I'm juz old... Gone are the heydays..  went Old Airport Road FC for lunch with everyone b4 we head down to the race venue  i had lor mee....  Samuel the driver for the day... it's nice being a passenger after being the driver for so many times..  reached.. this location under the Sheares Bridge used to be nothing but grass, trees n bushes  the controversial GIVE WAY YOG buses  foreign teams  Stone is goofing around  Feng n Stone  --  Sam, Banglah, Me n KW  entrance  from the stands  this is a canoe... it's one fuggin hard "boat" to row  --  the crowd was not bad..  oh, capsize...  --  the kayak..  china K1  K1 Woman - 1.Hungary 2.China 3.Belgium  Hungarian receing her Gold medal  China girl with her Silver  --  national anthem  group foto  C1 Men - 1.Cuba 2.Ukraine 3.Mexico  Cuban with his Gold  Sam with his shades.. hahahah  Stone with hers  me n KW need no shades  K1 Men - 1.Hungary 2.Germany 3.Spain  This Spanish boy looks cute..  but I LOVE THIS GERMAN BOY~!!!  He's real cute..  German ROX~!!  --  This Hungarian only won the German by 0.16seconds  --  --  --  bright future ahead for these boys.. their timings are amazing..  went Suntec Astons for dinner with stone n feng..  --  HAHA  the bill~~~  stone's mini sausages, she likes it small i guess.. LOL  feng loves the baked potatoes  i had my usual, chargrill with fries n garden veg..  Monday, August 23, 2010 Leisure Days Waiting for my next round of interview can be quite tiring, bumming around with nothing much to do. I've waited for 3 weeks n August is coming to an end, i hope they'll call me soon to arrange the date. 6th August, Friday  Had another night cycling with the army mates. This time round we tried a totally different route, one which none of us had tried b4; southern to northern Singapore  had a water break at Kallang River park after starting off from ECP  everyone is busy with their stuffs.. Drink water, check phone, check bike, talk cock, call girlfriends..  first group foto of the night  how can the bike be missed out??  stopped over at AMK central n hydrated ourselves  then we headed northwards to Lower Seletar Reservoir  arranging for a shot  Finally we ended up at Jalan Kayu for a pit stop after a damn tiring ride thru Yishun Dam n Seletar Aviation Hub.  prata time, it was around 3am in the morning  much needed energy refill  ah Yip~!!  tiring face of mine  enjoying their pratas?  last stop at the petrol station b4 we chiong back to the East.. I reached home at 5am n my legs were thoroughly exhausted.... But it's owas fun when u cycle with great mates.. 9th August, Monday  It was National Day~!! A rare day which most of us were free to meet for a meal..  Lunching @ Sushi Tei  Bernice, dunno why she wear until so sexy  unagi  handroll  dunno called wad  --  tampura  calamari  avocado something  finished~  dessert  group shot.. Poh went off early..  janice had a polaroid cam with her..  me n KW  b4 leaving the restaurant  Our next arranged date of gathering will be September 11th~!!! |
