Thursday, February 25, 2010 Sunset Grill It's school day on Monday, first day of school re-opening. But heck, eventhough we have tons of work to do, we went ahead for a special dinner beside the Seletar Airport. U can call this enjoying life, or simply heck caring.. Haha..  PGP carpark where the lady retrieved her Axio  I can nv stop myself from snapping when i go past this stretch of ECP  Sands IR almost done  Weird looking building beside the IR  We reached!  Runway in the background, Civic Type-R in the foreground  See the 2 ladies  WY n Cindy  plane!!  Wad the fok?  --  i hope i get to fly one of these one day  --  --  saw a huge private jet in the hangar  SQ training plane  --  --  --  Propellor  Cockpit  --  A bigger plane  WY likes airplane  ok enuff of planes, it was getting too dark.. Time for food  --  Oil lamps?  --  so happy...  the restaurant  nice lips, LoL  their trademark Buffalo Wings.. Nothing special n bloody expensive, $17.50 for 6 of them.  wa, they luv wings  up close  WY's fish  my Fish&Chips  Cindy n her lasagna  --  Dinner ended  Want a review? Seriously speaking, there's nothing special other than the location. The food is expensive with the 3 of us eating a total of $77. Food is average, Astons tastes much better. Buffalo Wings are so not worth it at all!! I rather go Bedok85 n eat the BBQ chicken wings. It's air-conditioned, but u get houseflies landing on ur straw, food or wadever they can land on. I even joked dat there are so many of them cos it's a "FLYing Club". Me n Cindy were like skeptical abt the quality of their bottled ketchup. It seems dat it's "fermenting" n producing carbon dioxide or sort. The 2 bottles of ketchup we unscrewed had this pressured gas release sound. There are no airplanes landing or taking off. All u see is a dark airstrip with the tiny red lights lining the runway. The only nice thing u can see is probably the sunset, which we missed cos it was too cloudy on dat day. Dun think I'm gonna go there again for the food. But phototaking will be a gd choice. After which, a short drive down to Jalan Kayu for other food seems to be a wiser choice. N yes, if u dun drive, u can never get there. It's a good 15min walk from the nearest bus stop outside Seletar East Camp. Nevertheless, it was good company, good time spent n we all went home with crazily full stomachs. I even had to shit right after i come back to relieve the fullness. HAHA~ On a side note, I'm glad all my female frens are decent drivers. After being on the road for 4yrs, I've seen my fair share of rubbish female drivers who can't drive for nuts. 60km/h on the highway in the 2nd lane, parking taking forever, can't change lane properly, taking a lifetime to move off from stationary position n braking unnecessarily. Asking a female to drive properly/intelligently is like asking her to play football decently. It's not exactly a women's sport, but u haf my respect if u can do it fairly well. Sunday, February 21, 2010 CNY 1, 2, 3 & 7 OK, this shall be a super long post with lots of pictures. Term break is over n school re-opens tml.. Haiz, i hate going back there. Visiting was fun this yr, it is every yr. Listen to my aunts n cousins talk cock n playing with the nephews & nieces, plus lots of goodies. I realised dat i didn't drink a cup of plain water for the 1st 4 days of CNY!! I'll need to really take care of my body from now onwards to prevent myself getting sick again.. The one week i was sick coupled with two weeks of non-exercising days made me lose 3kgs. Scary eh? Now i better sleep early by planning my assignments properly, dun slack too much n do last minute work. Holiday mood is over, time to get down to business! 12th Feb, Friday  Went to get this bottle of Kueh Bangkit from Caryn which her mum made..  washing car at petrol station.. New yr muz haf clean car  den i opened the bottle n enjoy the kueh bangkit.. Gosh it is damn nice.. BTW, it's finished already... I wan more..  den later in the night went to get some freshly roasted duck n roasted meat @ Ubi  chicken.. 13th Feb, Saturday, CNY Eve  last minute shopping @ Levi's  It was a tiring day finishing up the spring cleaning... 14th Feb, Sunday, CNY Day 1  1st stop, uncle's hse @ Bedok  goodies..  2nd stop, aunt's hse at Pasir Ris.. This is the newest nephew in the family  GOLD, matches my nokia  --  --  --  he's curious of everything  --  blackjack  Edmund  hoi....  who is this poser?  it's me trying to act cool..  pasir ris is actually a new fixture in the visiting list..  nice place  illegal parking ah... dun give a damn ah...  Ashley.. I like her dress!!  3rd n final stop, Hougang aunt's hse  this is the newest niece in the family  timothy  goodies  my two oldest nieces  parco playing sparks  i burnt my thumb lighting up the spark stick.. Noob me.. 15th Feb, Monday, CNY Day 2  driving...  uncle's hse at Hougang  --  --  went ZR's hse during evening time..  I played blackjack n won $20.. Lucky place for me..  3 musketeers.. ZR, Daniel n Me~~  Back to bedok late at night.. my two toddler nieces playing.. Charlene n Stacy  laksa cooked by aunt  Went Loyang Tua Peh Kong with everyone...  God of Fortune  my sign  huh? real God of Fortune??  he can really sing well...  Year of the Tiger... My day ended at 1am, shack out.. 16th Feb, Tuesday, CNY Day 3  Cousin's hse..  --  Bugis  --  --  Organic root beer, not too sweet..  Brownies made by cousin  omg, sunset in the city  wad s sight!!  People go to the mountains or beaches to see one.. But my cousin gets one right at her doorstep!!  --  --  --  too bad i dun haf a DSLR..  dinner with everyone at ECP Red House of Seafood  Yu Sheng  Toss toss toss  Deer Meat  Kailan  Squid  Prawn  Crayfish  Mee Goreng  N this fuggin huge crabs.. The pincer is longer n thicker than my palm!!  Timothy on the beach  --  --  I'm a very good uncle, dun mistake me as being a child abuser..  He wants to be a mermaid? 20th Feb, Saturday, CNY Day 7  Blackjack... Visited cousin's place at Calrose YCK  I like this lamp  anybody tio 4D??  Issac n Ashley siblings  Giraffes  Kois  heh  there were 4 dogs in the hse.. i had a hard time capturing them together as they were running all over!!  --  --  hello my fren  u luv liverpool too??  --  --  Nephew Ivan's bdae cake  time flies, he's already 11  Yu Sheng, again  --  Great crowd in the hse.. |
