ICT end

Finally, after a grueling 14 days, my annual ICT is over. However, I have to take note that the SAF can call me up a maximum of 40days per year. Heh, I hope they don't do dat to me.

Training for the 1st week was fine, with the usual refreshing revision. Did some physical trainings too n realised how unfit I was. 2.4km run was crazy n 2km mask run was killer. But I'm glad I came through these. I know it's crazy, but I missed camp food. Bak Kut Teh, western food, Satay fried rice, Laksa etc etc are some of the delicious food I had during the 2 weeks. It's a pity I couldn't take pictures of the food as camera phones are not allowed in SAF camps.

The 2nd week was crap when I was shooting in the range, having to book-in in the morning at 6am, n i couldn't stay in camp due to the dusty n dirty condition of the bunks. Range was boring, with 80% of the time spent on waiting n doing nothing else. N so the only thing I could do was to sleep on the benches in the midst of noisy M16 rifles firings in the background. *Firers, 100metres Figure 11 deliberate target, own time on target, CARRY ON* *PAM*PAM*PAM*

To make things worse, I was down with flu for the 2nd week. Feeling weak n sleepy n sucky with my nose flowing with mucous. Some of the mucous even landed on my rifle when I was firing it. Perhaps I shd haf used the 5.56mm bullet to stuff it into my nostrils to stop the flowing eh?

The ICT ended with my flu still uncured, n we bade farewell to each other. Next year will be a shorter one lasting for one week.
