First Time

Phew, it has been a crazy weekend man.. Courts Megastore beside Tampines IKEA had finally opened n I visited it on Friday to check out what they have to offer. MQ was with me n we shopped through the whole Megastore for half of the day. Well, it isn't as big as IKEA but it's still a big big place. There were so many different kind of products n some u'll never see in the normal Courts store u find in shopping centres.

As we were about the leave the place in the evening, we saw a queue outside the Megastore. After further inquiries, we found out there is gonna be some really great bargain on the next day as well as gift vouchers given out as lucky draw prices. The prices are really unbelievable. A Sony T10 7.2MP camera going at only S$399(U.P $599), 32inch LCD TV at S$799(U.P $1699). I was attracted to the crazy prices of course!!

So i went home n did the unthinkable n decided to join the overnight queue for the bargains. Mum called me a crazy boy non-stop until i left the house all ready to survive the night outside the Megastore. The best thing? MQ volunteered to accompany me for the night. So yeah, it was our first time queuing up overnight for some stuff. Crazy u may think, but there were more crazy people when u got there at 10pm. Our Q numbers were 287 & 288, the 1st guy in the queue was already there at 11.20am!! That's what i call crazy.

We survived the night of drizzles as well as mosquitoes. What i worry most was MQ. It's not easy for a girl to survive this thinking that they never had any training from the Army n the place it not one of the best place to sleep. I'm really glad she went through the "hardship" with me. That's probably the best u can get out of girlfriend i think. Hmm, I felt very guilty though..

We watched the sky turn bright slowly on Saturday morning n were half dead when the store finally opened at 10am. A total of 12hours of queuing, we were exhausted. Eventually, we got a 2-seater sofa for S$79(U.P $399) and a Pioneer HTS for S$349(U.P $699). Great bargains i must say. Can't wait for their delivery this coming Tuesday!!

The 1st floor is the best with bargains u'll never expect. Wan some cheap deals? Come here.. a Philips Flt 29" CRT costs only S$599, Viewsonic 19" LCD @ only S$299 etc etc etc
