Waterfall Day
It's Good Friday today, but it was a super rainy Friday. Ok, it didn't rain early in the morning. It started pouring like 1pm in the noon. Oh my, how heavy the rain was. Dad was driving on the PIE n I could hardly see the car in front of ours. That reminded me of that morning I sent Miss Fabregas to school. The rain was as heavy too that day. Haha, she must be damn scared that morning watching me drive in such a heavy downpour. It was dark some more, n don't forget I only juz got my license in February. A seasoned driver like dad even had to drive super carefully. The car hardly went above 60kmh on the highway.
It's the "Qing Ming Jie" period n everyone is going to the respective places to pay respects to their ancestors. I went Bishan Bright Hill Temple today for my past paternal grandparents. The heavy rain made the trip down more troublesome. Stayed for half hour or so. Then we went to Toa Payoh Safra to have a good meal. It's dad's birthday today n it's my treat. Hmm, I think he's 54 this year. It's so hard eating as a family. He just came back from Siberia on Monday, n I think he's going to go there again in 2 weeks' time. Hai..
The sun only crept out of the clouds in the evening when we were heading back home. The rain gave the road a good wash n the tyre grip was much better when the water dried up. I could feel the car going faster without much acceleration. Just when we're reaching home, dad made a turn so hard that my Lego Ferrari model fell off the dashboard! ARGH!!! It broke into many parts, n my heart was damn painful. There goes my four hours of hard work. Never mind, I'm gonna fix it back again, this time using super glue so that it won't break so easily. Dad drives like a racer. -_-"'
