    Rash

Chatted with Peishan on msn till the early hours last night, n I poured out a lot of things to her. She showed me something, which is very interesting. Here

Love never dies a natural death.
It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source.
It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals.
    It dies of illness and wounds;
It dies of weariness, of withering, of tarnishing.

She said mine died because of betrayal n wound. Hai.. Three more weeks n it'll be a year already. I'm still a snail hiding in the shell. When will I come out again? Only heaven knows~

Woke up very late today in order to have sufficient sleep, but poor Peishan still have to work after having so little sleep. Went for a mini cycling trip in the noon upon seeing the nice sunshine which is such a rarity these few weeks. There were a lot of skaters in East Coast Park, so many more than cyclists. I rode the whole coastline to n fro, enjoying the breeze n scenery. How I missed those days when I have kayaking trainings in Kallang Basin. The sea, the sun, the adrenalin when my boat is flying.

The mini trip went for about three hours. When I came home, I started having some kinda itch n red patches started showing on my body. Heck, I had wanted to go to Zheng Rong’s Good Friday celebration at Redhill, but can't due to the sudden rash. Thank god the rash subsided after I applied some lotion onto them. It was already too late by then to go for the celebration. Went for dinner with family n sent sis to Ubi for her tuition. Headed for Hougang next to have soya beancurd with my cousins n nephews next. Saw my little cutie Parco again. He can talk now!! Haha, how cute.. He just kept on rambling but I couldn't figure out what he was trying to say. When I was reading the Motoring magazine, he came over n I taught him how to say "Car...." He actually managed to pronounce it properly!! Woah.. Clever boy indeed.

Fetched sis back from her tuition after that n went back home, thoroughly exhausted. The cycling trip took away a lot of my energy. I need to rest. Oh, Chelsea won Bolton 2-0 at the Reebok Stadium. With Manchester United drawing 0-0 with Sunderland ystd, the gap between the top two teams in the EPL has extended to an almost unassailable 9 points. Forget it I say, Chelsea will be English Champions again. Liverpool will be playing Blackburn Rovers tmr at Ewood Park. It’s the Lancashire Derby n it sure will be an interesting match to watch. It's the 17th Anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster today. I would like to send my condolences to the families of the 96 Liverpool fans who died supporting Liverpool on 15th April 1989 in the FA Cup seimi-final against Nottingham Forest. It's always a very sad day for Liverpool fans on this date of every year.

1989: Soccer fans crushed at Hillsborough
At least 93 football supporters have been killed in Britain's worst-ever sporting disaster.
They were crushed to death at Hillsborough stadium in Sheffield during the FA Cup semi-final between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
The crush is said to have resulted from too many Liverpool fans being allowed in to the back of an already full stand at the Leppings Lane end of the ground.
More than 2,000 Liverpool fans had still not got into the stadium when the match started at 1500.
A police spokesman said orders were given for the gate to the stand to be opened because they believed the pressure of fans outside the ground was "a danger to life".
But as fans rushed in, those already there were pushed forward and crushed against the high, wired-topped safety fences.
However, it was more than five minutes into the match before what was happening became apparent to those not in the Leppings Lane stand.
Then, alerted by fans spilling through a narrow gap onto the pitch or being lifted by others into the seating areas above, a policeman ran onto the field and ordered the referee to stop the game.

    Bodies

But improved security measures recently introduced at grounds to keep rival fans apart meant, for many, there was no escape from the crush.
Police and match officials attempted to help those trapped clamber over the safety barrier.
Bodies were lifted forward and laid out on the pitch - many of them teenagers and children.
Other injured fans were ferried to ambulances on stretchers improvised from crash barriers and advertising hoardings.
At least 200 people were injured, about 20 seriously.
Some fans have said bad ticket allocation contributed to the disaster.
Liverpool has far more supporters than Nottingham Forest but were given 6,000 fewer tickets and allocated the smaller Leppings Lane stand.
