Tuesday, December 06, 2005 Phew.. Juz finished my dinner. Yes, u didn’t hear wrong, it’s 11.30pm now n I juz had dinner. It was a busy day. Woke up at 10am with nobody in sight at home. Sis went to work n mum simply disappeared, I had no idea where she went. I ate 8 pathetic pieces of peanut butter biscuits n drank a cup of plain water. Yep, that lasted me till 7.30pm at night. Wow, I think I fasted like what Muslims do during the Ramadan period. Noon went to MMI again at NUS for a review on my knee injury. I had an x-ray done, no problem with my bones. The doctor showed me my left knee MRI picture. Sheesh, I couldn’t figure out which is what. The doctors at TTSH must be damn professional to be able to spot the tear in my meniscus. No wonder doctors earn so much. It’s fixed; I’m going for surgery for sure. They’ll book an appointment for me with SGH (S’pore General Hospital) n from there I can arrange a date for the key-hole surgery on my knee. It’ll take about 6 weeks to recover after surgery. So that means I’ll be on MC for 2 months. Hehe, bye bye Seletar Camp! The medical appointment lasted quite long. I only got to leave the clinic at 6pm when the time of my appointment was 3.30pm. Rushed back all the way to Tampines from Buona Vista. The journey took a freaking hour on the MRT train. By then, my stomach can’t stand it anymore. I grabbed a cheeseburger meal from BurgerKING n went for my driving lesson. Phew, thank god I was in time. The lesson was great! Ok, it’s my 1st time driving at night. The fee for night lesson is 10bucks more expensive than day time. Oh well, I was intending to see whether I can drive as well at night. All went well today. I learnt the slope, went thru the “S” n “crank” courses n did reverse vertical parking. My instructor was Malay n he’s good. I understood whatever he taught me n applied everything. Ok, I don’t mean to show off, but he was so satisfied with my slow speed control, he suspected that I drove a car even b4 learning in CDC. Nah, I’m a good citizen, I won’t break the law by driving w/o a qualified license. My lesson ended at 10.20pm n I only reached home at 11pm. Completed my 14th lesson, n I’m only left with parallel parking to learn. I’ll have another lesson this Thursday on Auto transmission car. Hmm, I had given myself 20 lessons to complete everything but I guess I’ll need less than that now. I’m exhausted after doing so much traveling today. Yawnz.. There’s Champions’ League action later in the early morning hours. Liverpool will be playing against |
