For the 2nd time, I drove in the rain. Yep, today is my 13th lesson n I drove in the rain, a pretty heavy, but short one. The last time I drove in the rain was during my 3rd lesson a month ago. Such a great difference between the 2 lessons. I was still an amateur then, stalling the engine a few times n my speed control was not as good. Today, I finally got a different instructor after having the same one for the past 5 lessons. Went round the test routes around the Ubi area. I did fine, no major mistakes, except for one dangerous lane change. I’m trying my best not to drive like a bulldozer. Heh, at least the instructor was confident enough to leave the driving to myself when he answered a call on his phone. He even taught me how to get thru the “crank” course in the circuit. The “crank” course is a series of consecutive tight 90 degrees turns n u have to drive your car thru it w/o hitting or mounting the kerbs. Luckily I went thru the two “crank” courses in the circuit unscathed. The 1st one was wider, but the 2nd one was so narrow, I had to get thru it really slow. Finished my module 2 at last n I booked my practical test, which is on 17th Feb 2006, a Friday morning. That’s like 2 months later, such a turn off. Boo! Now I can’t drive during Chinese New Year..

Went Novena after my lesson to meet up with mum n sis for dinner. Mum was having her monthly arthritis check up at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. We ate at a Chinese restaurant in Novena Square called “Lao Beijing”, which means Old Beijing. Very nice food indeed. I still love Chinese food the most. Western, Japanese or Korean food can never win my heart.

Took a slow train ride home after dinner. A Monday w/o the Monday blues, except for the dream I had last night. I need a cure, but I can’t find any. Any kind doctors out there can help me??

Countdown: 100days to ORD. Damn it! It’s 100 days!! Man, how much closer can it get? 3 more freaking months, my last 100 days in the army. I can’t wait to get out!!
