Liverpool 3-0 Anderlecht
2 Spaniards n a French helped ensured Liverpool their biggest win of the season. When was the last time Pool scored 3 goals? That was in the Champions' League Final at Istanbul against AC Milan. Probably the best performance by the strikers as both Cisse n Morientes scored. My wish had come true. Now let's hope the good form will be brought into their domestic league games.

Real Betis 1-0 Chelsea
Chelsea LOST!! HAHAHA! Can't believe my eyes when i see the final score. It's the first loss for Chelsea in almost 6 months(1-0 against LFC in last season's CL semi). The only goal came from Dani in the 28th minute. It's a sweet sweet revenge for Betis after being hammered by the Blues 4-0 at Stamford Bridge 2 weeks ago. It's time Jose Mourinho eats the humble pie. Who say Chelsea isn't beatable?

PSV Eindhoven 1-0 AC Milan
Marvellous in their 3-1 win against Juventus last weekend but found no answer against a risilient PSV side. Farfan got the early goal for PSV n secured one very impt win for the Dutch team.

Schalke 04 2-0 Fenerbahce
German international Kevin Kuranyi n Ebbe Sand strike it for Schalke to kill off the Turkish Champion. Fenerbahce ended the game with 9 men after Fabio Luciano was sent off for a foul on Lincoln in the 40th min n Marco Aurelio was dismissed for his 2nd yellow of the game after fouling Kuranyi. A convincing win by the Germans indeed, helped by the double sent off.

Olympiakos 1-4 Lyon
After taking an early lead through Babangida, the Greek side crashed to defeat at home ground against the French Champions. John Carew scored a brace n Lyon has confirmed entry to the next round. Olympiakos was totally being outplayed.

Rosenborg 0-2 Real Madrid
Dorsin scored an own goal n Guti added on to the scoreline just before half time. An effective win, nothing stylish, 3 points in the bag is what the Spanish giant needs. Qualification assured.

Artmedia Petrzalka 2-2 Rangers
Met twice, drawn twice. They drew 0-0 a fortnight ago. Rangers were forced to settle for a share of the points when they were twice clawed back by Artmedia Bratislava. The Rangers defence will have to do better if the team wants to progress to the knock out phase.

Inter Milan 2-1 FC Porto
Porto got an early spectacular 30m freekick goal but Inter came from behind to snatch victory at the yet again empty San Siro. Argentine substitute Julio Ricardo Cruz scored twice to cancel out the goal scored by Huga Almeida of Porto. 2004 Champions League winners Porto is now bottom of the group with only 3 points to show for after 4 games.
