Wednesday, November 30, 2005 2005 is coming to an end. It’s the 30th of November today, the last day b4 we hit December. I’m yet another month closer to ORD. I’m turning 21 in 2 months’ time too! WooHoo! 2006 will be a better year for sure. I’ve had really rotten 2 yrs in 2004 n 2005.. It’s another sun-less day today. Rained heavily in the middle of last night, super comfortable to sleep through the night. Had my 9th driving lesson early this morning. Learnt U-Turning n right turning at junctions. Right turns are so much more complicated than left turns, u have to look out for more things. I did alright, at least not scaring the instructor. Watched 3 DVDs today. I was damn bored at home. Nobody to talk to, nobody to go out with. Brr, it’s cold though.. Another driving lesson tmr at 8.30am. It’s early, n I have to have enough sleep. So yup, sweet dreams~! How I wish I can still send rose 7 to u. But I guess things between us can’t go back to the same anymore. Too many things have happened. No way can I forget how close u got with other guys while I foolishly wait for u.Took the Final Theory E-trail test today b4 my lesson. It's still ok. Managed to pass all. The actual test is this Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed.. Charlie n the Chocolate factory. Argh, can't get the Willy Wonka song outta my head. So i put it on my site. I LOVE chocolates! The oompa loompas look freaky though.. Bewitched. Kinda boring show, i almost fell asleep a few times during the show. Nicole Kidman still look as attractive as ever.. War of the Worlds. Story wise, it's fine. Effects wise, it's great, especially with the encoded DTS 5.1 surround sound in the DVD. Tuesday, November 29, 2005 For yet another SEA (South East Asian) Games, the Singapore U23 soccer team failed to get past the group stage n advance to the semis. Everyone is getting fed up at the way the Young Lions played. No team work, no hunger, absolutely waste of tax payers’ money. They’re the 1st in the whole of Team My eyes practically looked like a zombie today.. Slept at 4.30am n woke up at 8.30am for my driving lesson. It’s a miracle I managed to stay awake throughout the 100min of driving.. Was chatting with Kryptess^ on msn. It was pretty cool. We talked abt kayaking, RGS, cooking n relationships. Haha, if not for my driving, I think I can talk all the way till morning. Today’s driving was good. It’s the 1st time I get an instructor that taught me b4 during my past lessons. The traffic was good cos it’s pretty light in the late morning. It’s already my 8th lesson n I had learnt quite a lot. The only thing I haven’t learn is parking, both vertical n parallel. Since the sun was good today, I took my bike out for a spin in late noon. Went a lot of places, check out the photos. Cycled for 3 hrs, an effort to burn off the huge amount of calories I took in during lunch. At least I don’t feel so guilty now. Wednesday tmr, will be having my 9th lesson. No Champions’ League action this week. I seriously need some sleep now.. Gdnitez~ Went TM to get lunch.. Went past an aquarium fish shop.. They haf v nice tanks.. i'll make one like dat after NS.. Monday, November 28, 2005 Office duty ystd was alright, watched TV for the whole day. It was the 1st time during duty that I didn’t have to pick up any phone call, cos there wasn’t any. The sun was great ystd, but I had to be stuck in the sir-con room. I want my tan!! 28th again today. Rose 7 no more. Time flies, a month had passed, but nothing’s changed in me. Trying my best isn’t good enough; “be back stronger” is not easy at all. I do not regret this relationship. I know it’s impossible to be back together, but I juz can’t fucking let go. The freaking memories forbid me to. I miss There’s no sunshine today again. Chilly wind blowing into my room now. Having driving lesson later in the noon. ~Ciaox~ Finshed an issue of BusinessWeek in office ystd. Asian Business: In China, with growth slowing in the crowded n costly coastal centres, Beijing is urging business into the hinterlands. In Japan, the countrys major carmakers are leading the way in high-tech gadgets that help prevent accidents, but the high costs n sophisticated engineering means its still a long way till they really appear on roads. European Business: Commercial jet engine manufacturer, Rolls Royce, is on the rebound with profits of US$1.19b on sales of US$11.9b in 2005. In telecommunication, Spains Telefonica is bidding for Britains O2 PLC for US$31.4b. If successful, Telefonica will become Europes 3rd largest telecom service provider with 44million of mobile subscriber in Western Europe alone. In Russia, their one n only local carmaker, AvtoVAZ, is facing a serious threat in its dominance as foreign car plants are springing up in Russia at a furious pace. The United Sates: Microsoft unveils Net services to push back against Google, Yahoo, n other rivals. The Net services are mainly Office Live n Windows Live. In Windows Live, a website of Live.com, consumers can personalize their digital activities n keep them all in one place-including e-mail, blogging, photo sharing, collecting podcasts n instant messaging. In Office Live, which is targeted at small businesses, it enables them to set up websites n e-mail systems, provide online collaboration tools for teams, n has software for handling customer relations. Saw this mag in office. It's a new local mag named SNAG, Sensual New Age Guy. Not a bad one, very useful articles n the pictures in it are not so heavily edited, unlike those in Maxim n FHM. It cost S$3.80 onli, way cheaper than the normal S$6 price tag. There are 5 sun kissed babes inside n readers can vote for their fav. |
