    Do Singaporeans Dress Badly?

Ok, this is for nuffnang blogging competition, let's see wad what I can write about this. What do I think? Well, I have to say Singaporeans' fashion ain't one of the best around. What you see youngsters wear these days are pretty standard.

For girls, super-short shorts and t-shirt, plus slippers, n they can go everywhere with that. For guys, bermudas and chang beer/redbull singlet, plus slippers. It has all become quite a "generic" outfit to go out. It's boring, unimaginative and plain mundane.

But you can't blame them can you? With Singapore's crappy weather, I think what we can wear comfortably and not let ourselves sweat like a wet chicken is pretty hard to find. However, I especially find people who wear beanie in Singapore looking like idiots. I bet their hair will smell like rotten eggs at the end of the day with all the sweating.

Other fashion mistakes include those little teens/kids who like to wear skinny jeans but are lazy to wear proper shoes. C'mon, u look like crap to wear slippers with that. This is a classic case of monkey see monkey do. You see everybody wear it, you think it's cool to be in the "crowd", so you follow. RUBBISH!!

For females, the most disgusting thing I keep seeing is tights. YES, TIGHTS!! They actually wear bottom tights out, and some don't even bother to cover the butt area with a long top. So what you see?? Butts with amazing VPL. Another SERIOUS case is the trend of females wearing FBT sports shorts to EVERYWHERE they go. Unbelievable. If you want something that's cooling, don't even choose the FBT shorts!! Those are are for sports activities, NOT Orchard Road going. Look at the picture below caught by stomp. FBT shorts with GUCCI bag. LOL, what a disasterous match. These FBT shorts are taking the streets by storm recently.

But of course, you can't exactly compare our fashion scene with those of other countries with a different climate, cause I think that is still the main barrier that is preventing us from dressing nicely.

As for people who wear PJs out, haha, I think in some way, it's forgivable. Well, that is if you're going to places which is not too far away from home and it's only for a short period of time, like going to the coffeeshop for breakfast. If you wear PJs to town, then you ought to be shot, like the FBT shorts wearers.

I'm guilty of wearing torn n tattered sleepwear to buy breakfast in Tampines Mall.. Haha, anyway, it's 9am in the morning when there's no crowd, so it's still ok. Wanna see me in PJs? Scroll down...
