From cartoon to big screen

I still remember I was a big fan of a cartoon when I was young. Such was my interest in it that I rented video tapes from the rental shops to watch it, eventhough it's in cantonese. Needless to say, I'm an electronics guy since young, n anything that is automated will catch my attention. Robocop was one of them n the other one is the upcoming movie "Transformers". The Newpaper gave it an amazing 4.5 stars, which makes me even more tempted to go watch it, but I'm contemplating of getting the DVD n enjoy the surround sound at the comfort of my own home. Hmm... Decisions



I watched the Fantastic Four with Daniel n ZR last night. It's quite cool actually, all thanks to the CGI silver Surfer. Seriously, the company dat did Silver Surfer had done a hell of a job. He looked so real. It makes me wonder, how much does it take for me to be able to do this kinda graphics one day? Transformers is another more sophisticated CGI movie. Now dat I'm in digital media course, I'm able to appreciate the cool graphics I see in the movies. A few seconds in the film is equivalent to many many hours in front of the computer adjusting the pixels. It's a real painstaking job, but the reward is marvellous.
