Tuesday, June 13, 2006 Australia 3-1 Japan Damn, i can't believe my eyes when i saw australia crawl back from 1-0 down to win the match 3-1. I think much has to be blamed on the super hot weather. The two teams were playing under the sweltering heat of 30degrees celcius, n Japan's stamina got punctured under the heat during the 2nd half of the match. Tim Cahill scored twice within 5 minutes during the last 10minutes of normal time, with John Aloisi scoring a third late into injury time to add some gloss to the final scoreline. I must say the Aussies deserve the victory. After this victory, I guess the team has more belief that they can go far. Saw this on Sarah's(links) blog. I'm so glad army is over for me, n i can dedicate more of my time to her... ------------------------------------ My Words to you. and days back, i tricked Dear into telling him that i was going to the States for a month, and leaving in a sweet 2 weeks time, he almost hyperventilated into shreds. lol! alright, it's an irony but i can't imagine both of us not talking massively even just for a day or so. neither can i really imagine if either one of us leaves the red dot. like he totally dropped the thought of going overseas for studies after his Army and i totally dropped the idea of Daddy suggesting me to go over to Canada, live with my cousins because he wanted me to take up Bread Making [very funny indeed, my father has ideas], and obviously, we were the reasons for each other's insistent stay, we couldn't see it happening- to be separated apart by a great vast of Land & Sea with the Aeroplane as our only mean of transport [considering you can sit a lifetime of bus rides with a plane ticket], was just barely possible. just even both of us leaving within 17 MRT stops/1 hour Bus ride/15 mins Car or Cab ride, we feel like Siamese twins being splited apart by a crazy unknown force. we could go out, see each other for an entire day, be on the phone with each other during the on-the-way-back-home journey, webcam when he finally reaches back home, follwed by a call/sms to send goodnight greetings and everything above would happen in one day itself. we would sit around at home, mourn the misses and boredom VIA Sms/Phone/Msn if by chance, we didn't meet up. and i could stay awake till morning waiting for him to wake up for Army and talk to him through his going-to-work journey. through the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, we have unknowingly developed attachment and dependency on each other's company. i am really grateful that we are given enough, by that i mean, more than enough, ample time for each other. we can possibly meet up everyday, and there was "that fateful week" when we met from Monday to Sunday even when he had to serve Army duties Monday-Friday in the day and i had to attend school. Army is the key reason for spliting couples, been there done that. i feel such a lucky zoid having someone be there for me everyday, just a call away anytime, anywhere even when he's in the Army and that is made possible because he serves an Office hours vocation. if he was a stay-in, things would have been different, i guess. patience and understanding would then be more important then anything in the relationship instead of the simple love itself. the major thing that would split couples up would definitely be the time and distance, and sadly, most wouldn't make it through this 2 ordeals. I am so glad we have both on our side. ------------------------------ |
