    Friday the 13th

Who says Friday the 13th is an unlucky day? Haha, I’ve had a wonderful day! Sorry for the lack of activity in my blog. I have been busy painting the house for the past 2 days. Finally completed the humongous living room n kitchen, n I’m now only left with my sis’ room. Phew, I was really shacked out, working for more than 10hrs each day on Wed n Thurs. Hence, I took a well deserved break today.

Hmm, why is my day wonderful? Ok, first of all, I was being greeted by bright sunshine when I woke up this morning. That’s like the 1st time I see the sun for more than a week. N oh my, the sun was freaking hot today! There wasn’t a second showing it’s going to rain. Oh, how I love the sun.

Secondly, I drove! Hehe, I drove again at the driving school this morning. It was damn coooool…!! Ha, I haven’t been driving since December 9th 2005. That’s more than a month ago. The feeling of turning the steering wheel n changing the gears felt simply awesome. Thank god I didn’t get rusty after the long lay off. In fact, I think I’ve matured as a driver. I can control the speed much better now, n therefore, my acceleration is smoother n faster. Haha, I don’t drive like a “L” Plate driver anymore. The speed of my car is now the same as the surrounding traffic. Last time when I was a greenhorn, I’ve had other drivers horning at me for my slow speed. My instructor for the day took me for my final evaluation. If I had taken the test today, I would have passed it cos my instructor could only give me 4 demerit points. All 4 points comes from the “failure to conform to safety”. Damn, it’s all that stupid motorbike’s fault. He zoomed out from nowhere when I was turning left. If not for him, I would have been prefect.

On my way back from CDC, I was walking very slowly to the bus stop. Man… The heat from the sun was fantastic. Singapore has been very cold for the past week. There’s no way I can sleep w/o my blanket at night.

The best of all, I cycled! Woohoo!! I missed the wind blowing into my face n hair during my frequent bike spins. Nah, I didn’t go for any spin. I juz went to rent some DVDs to watch. The ride was good, no pain from my knee, but I still can’t accelerate fast.

So yeah, weekend is here. Saturday tmr, I think I’ll head down to Bedok Reservoir to see TPJC kayaking team train. Who knows, maybe I’ll hit the water too.
