    BMW=Broke My Wallet

    It has been a wet wet wet 2 days in Singapore. Rain fell from the sky everyday w/o fail, causing a number of road accidents. However, the rain hasn’t dampened the spirits of Singaporeans shopping for Chinese New Year. Went shopping ystd n today, n it was damn crowded in the shopping malls.

    The physio session ystd at the hospital was good. I got assigned to a new physiotherapist. Hmm, another female, n this one was more caring than the previous one. Didn’t learn any new exercises though. She strapped on more weights to my ankle this time round. I could feel the strain as my knee is still pretty weak. Hai, it’s been 2 weeks after my surgery, I wonder when I can jump, squat n run like before.

    Headed to Bugis to shop with Kian Wai n Poh Siang after physio. We shopped till the whole shopping centre closed. Haha.. Yep, we bought lots of stuff, all clothes for the coming CNY. Poh spent S$200++ juz by buying a Levi’s jeans n Levi’s shirt. This guy is damn rich. Levi’s is definite out of my budget. With the amount he spent solely on Levi’s, I can get A LOT more than juz a pair of jeans n shirt.

    Then, today accompanied bestie Zheng Rong to shop for his CNY clothes. I had come to realize 77th Street has a lot of nice clothes. He spent S$180+, not bad, considering he got 2 pairs of jeans, one t-shirt n one shirt. Walked a lot today looking for clothes n more clothes. I didn’t buy much today, juz a shirt that cost 40 bucks. Had “kway chup” for lunch at the great Bugis hawker centre. I miss it man. It has been so damn long since I last ate it.

    Continued shopping @ Suntec after lunch but couldn’t find anything that fancies us. I saw Shiyun at Carrefour. She’s working for L’Oreal as a promoter for their hair dye. Almost can’t recognize her with her new look. Dyed long hair plus make up, she looked very much different from the plain jane look I was used to. Chatted for a while with her n then met up with my family for dinner at Bugis. Haha.. I’ve been chartering between Bugis n Suntec today.

    It’s my Timothy nephew’s birthday today. His parents held a simple celebration for him by having a meal at the restaurant. The usual Chinese dishes again, but it was good. I was freaking full after dinner. Lunch was at 2pm, n dinner at 6.30pm. Kaoz.. I wasn’t really hungry during dinner but the food was too good to resist.

    2 days has passed for this week n I spent it mostly on shopping. My wallet is broken now. I blew a total of S$353.70 on new clothes n new shoes. I guess I shall stop here. Half of my pay for this month is gone like that. The shopping spree really Broke My Wallet.
