Saturday, January 21, 2006 Blank… Wasn’t in the best of mood to blog these past few days due to the episode on Monday. My mind was an all blank. I could hardly handle the situation. Yesterday(19th Jan) Ystd was well spent. Woke up early for my driving lesson. Nothing new, juz the usual stuff. The lesson was only a revision. No major mistakes for me. I can’t wait for the driving test next month. After the lesson, I headed down to SGH for my physio session. I did a lot of exercises this time round, so much so that the muscles in my butt are still aching now. Learnt some new stretches n the weights that my knee worked on was being increased. It was good that I could cope with the heavier weight. I even had an ultrasound treatment on my knee. It’s a process which sends waves into my soft tissue to speed up the healing process. Then, something funny happened. My last exercise was stretching the band of muscle at the side of my thigh. I had to lie on my side n put a tennis ball under my left thigh. Using almost my whole body weight, I had to maneuver the ball along the band of muscle. The pain was very bad, so bad that I can’t keep quiet. The ball was pressing onto my muscle n rolling on the whole length of it. Ouch! My physiotherapist showed me how to do it n I did it once for her to see. She instructed me to repeat it for a whopping 20 times. I was stunned. How can I do it for 20 times when once already hurt like hell? Then, she walked away n I thought she left the room. I carried on with the exercise, making some noises due to the pain. Haha, never would I know she was still in the room. I was lying on the floor, separated with her by a parapet wall, so I can’t see her. I was so embarrassed when she asked me, “Wai Lay, are u ok? I can hear the moaning” gosh… I didn’t know where to hide my face. Ok, I was exactly MOANING la. It was juz some uncomfortable “ouches”. Damn… After dinner. I went back to camp at 10.30pm to hand in my MC. When I was walking through the gates of my camp, the guard was staring at me. I had no idea why he did that initially. Then, I went to my bunk to say hi to my mates. They were all so surprised. Haha.. It was fun seeing them again. The 1st thing they noticed abt me was my hair colour. It was then I realized why the guard kept staring at me. It was all becos of my brown coloured hair. I stayed for a while, chatted n say hi to everyone. That place look so strange to me now. The day will come when I need not go back there anymore. 55 more days to go. My life is going back to normal again. News of the day: The COE price for 1600cc cars dropped to S$8009. Damn.. My Sunny’s COE cost S$12k only 2 months ago. It cost S$50k then, but now, the selling price of the same car is only S$44.5k. To the Singaporeans who want to get a new car, go get it now. S$44.5k for a Nissan Sunny is a freaking bargain of the century. Someone committed suicide at the block opposite mine. She jumped to her death. Traumatizing.. I could still see the blood stain on the floor when I came home today. |
