Heh, sea expedition at Kallang basin today. Haha, it was fun. Reminded me of my JC days. I could smell the familiar smell of the Kallang water n it brought back all the past memories instantly. Laughed like crazy talking to my seniors n fellow kayaking mates. Haha, how I wished I can go back to Year 1 in JC.
The crowd was good, but they are mainly from earlier batches of TPJC Sea Sports club, a lot of them are in the 22-28 age range. So it was kinda weird when I’m controlling them as a convoy of the fleet cos I’m only 20. Rowed out all the way near the under construction dam at the southern part of Singapore. It’s really massive. I can’t wait to see it get completed n convert the whole area into a reservoir.
It was a hot day today, but the day ended raining. Crappy weather. Lucky I borrowed sun block from “lipids” Grace to protect my skin. Hey, thanks girl if u’re reading this. I had a great time laughing at n with u today. Haha!
When everything ended, it was already close to evening. We were all damn tired. I never washed n carried so many freaking heavy recreational boats throughout my canoeing career. I think I’ll wake up tmr morning suffering from extreme muscle ache.
The TPJC SSC alumni have finally been officially set up. I can use the racing boats freely now. I miss competitions n kayaking trainings.
U don’t want to come for the expedition when ur junior asked u to, Fine. U can dislike me, but please dun say that canoeing is dumb juz because I’m associated with it. Everyone has their own favourite sport n never criticize any sport because u don’t like it. If u think canoeing is dumb, then go try it urself. A dumb person will never conquer the racing boats. Every sport will need certain technique n skills, none of them is dumb. If u’re reading this, I think u’re seriously dumb by saying another sport is dumb. Please, speak like a mature 20 yr old.
