Heh, I’m back home. Requested to stay out tonight after I missed it on Monday due to duty. Thanks platoon sergeant. Morning had mask games as training. It’s actually a fun way to train us to have greater endurance in our gas mask. Imagine this: what u breathe in through the mask is only a mere 40% of what u take in normally without a mask. That is why we need to have lots of training in our gas mask. We played captain ball, platoon versus platoon in my company. My platoon’s strength was pathetic. We only had 8 people, the rest went for off day, whereas other platoons had more than 14 people each. They had the luxury of substituting their players but my platoon had to play every match with the same set of people (7 people each team). Out of 4 games, we lost 3 of them, got thrashed. I ran myself to the ground n took a lot of knocks along the way.

Why? Why is it always like that? Whenever people from my company’s other platoons play games against me, they’ll put in extra effort to stop me from playing my normal game. This morning, I was being elbowed, pushed, n even being sliding tackled (like what u see in soccer) during the captain ball game. I now have a swelling on my left shin due to a sliding tackle. If the tackle had been any lower, my ankle would be gone.

Is it due to my physical build? I always try to play fairly n enjoy the game, even when I’m losing. Just because I’m a little bigger size, that doesn’t mean I can take all the knocks n abuse without feeling anything. Hey, I’m human like all of u; I’m made of flesh n blood too. I feel the pain when u hit me. I’m not some kind of robot or a heavy duty machine. PLEASE, let me enjoy my game, don’t resort to rough play against me.

Book out after lunch n took a long trip down to Bukit Timah Plaza for OC Evening. We’re playing pool. Haha, it was kinda fun. Joking n laughing around the pool tables. Lucky there’s no way to play a rough game in pool, or else they would target me again. We played for 3 hours. The rest of them went for dinner b4 going back to camp while I headed back home. There’s a display work at Nee Soon Camp tmr by my platoon. I’m not gonna get involved this time round. I’ve done enough displays. I wanna rest in my bunk. Now I have a injured left knee, a swollen left shin, n a busted left forehead. Hahaha, it seems that my left side is jinxed. Hope I won’t see ghosts with my left eye! Alright, gotta go. Time for TV, my favourite Charmed.
