I should be grateful that I’m not lying in the hospital now. Had a mishap in the middle of the night. Hai.. Dunno why I can have such a bad stomachache that I fainted in the toilet. The weird thing is, I don’t even know I blacked out until I regained consciousness. I was lying on the floor, blood all over my forehead. My left eye was blinded by the large amount of blood flowing into it. It was damn scary. I thought the liquid on my forehead was sweat until I swiped it off with my hand. It was then I realized I was bleeding pretty badly. There’s a cut on my left forehead.

How did I end up in such a pathetic state? My sight was blurry n I’m still unaware of what’s going on. I forgot why I ended up in the toilet. My memory only came back after a minute of rest. Sheesh, I saw a small piece of broken tile in the midst of many drops of blood on the ground. A look on the tiled wall confirmed my suspicion. I fainted n my head hit the wall. The impact was so big I broke a tile with my head. I freaked out of cos. It’s the first time I’m bleeding from the head n I’m sure the knock must be very hard to break the tile. My hand moved around my left forehead in search of any swelling but I accidentally touched the wound, which made me squirm in pain. I looked into the mirror, my face was pale, probably still shocked by what happened. Thank god the cut wasn’t very bad. The bleeding stopped after applying pressure to the wound.

I have no idea how long I was unconscious for, but looking at the fresh blood, I think it wasn’t for long. I never fainted in my life before. You know, when u’re unconscious, u actually want to wake up, but can’t. I’ve never felt something like this before. The moment before I opened my eyes, I can “feel” my surroundings. I struggled to open my eyes but there seemed to be some force fighting me. Lucky I was determined enough wake up n was greeted by blur images n giddiness.

Mum was super scared, but I assured her I’m alright. Went to see the doc this morning. He said it looks ok. For now, I’ll pray that there won’t be any after effects from the knock, n touchwood, blood clot in my brain.

I shudder at the thought that I didn’t regain consciousness n remain in the toilet floor till daybreak. That would have been very serious…
