Night off, came back home for dinner. Pretty slack week, whole day do nothing. I watched TV n read mag while my fellow platoon mates play Smack Down n Winning Eleven 8 (PS2 games) for the whole day. Haha, they were damn rowdy. We were so free cos of the IOC session. My platoon is the standby force in camp, while the rest of the company will be at the session for protection duties. Sad case, i didn't get to go. Why must i be in the standby force during this operation sia.. Argh..... It's once in a lifetime chance but i missed it.

Well, the result is out after 2 days, London won the rights to host the Olympic Games 2012. That's a good choice in my opinion. It was either London or Paris at the last part of the session. France just hosted the World Cup Finals in 1998, n i think they should give the chance to London to hold something big. Yes, England hosted Euro 96, but that was only involved with European countries, just like Copa America. Haha, Beckham n Tony Blair didn't make a wasted trip after all. It is nice to have them here, not forgetting the other countries' famous people who made the effort coming here. It's over, Singapore is brilliant at holding such a major event. I hope there will be more in the future. The next major operation for me will be National Day. This year it'll be very massive, i'll be damn busy during the pre-NDP period n on the day itself. Still don't know what i'll be doing, but i wish i'll be in Tampines (3 areas: Tamp, Jurong East n Yishun) doing display.

Today is 6th of July. 2 months ago on this date, we broke up. 2 months, but i feel like it has only been 2 days. I managed to get by these 2 months, all thanks to my dear friends n Ying, especially my best friend Zheng Rong. They are there for me when they knew i'm at the lowest point of my life. I'm really grateful for that, grateful that god blessed me with such fantastic friends. U guys have been great, Thank You... It's a sad thing i didn't manage to keep her by my side. I had wanted to make her my wife after NS, but.... Hai.. Added a midi sound on my site. It's the song "The Reason" by Hoobastank. The lyrics of the song pretty much explained everything.
