Recession?

Recession?

Are we really in a recession? Apparently, everyone is Singapore is still in the spending mood, at least during the IT Show which lasted for 4 days at Suntec City last week. It's the first of Singapore's quarterly tech/electronics exhibition. N i tot wif the gloomy outlook, people will at least curb their spending during the coming show. How wrong can I be??

When IT Show ended last Sunday, it generated a record S$58.5 million, which is S$4.5 million more than last year. Even my fren bought a $300++ iPod Touch v.2 from the show. How abt me?? I was stuck at home with numerous assignments. WTF rite? Can't watch Liverpool matches, can't go IT Show, all I can do is stay home n do homework. KNN!!

But then, I really hate how Epson's general manager, Felicia Gan, describes us. According to her, "
Given that Singapore is a IT hub across the region - Singaporeans, youngsters are all IT freaks and gadget-savvy - so I think (the buying) will still happen. IT just changes too fast, so people will still buy (new gadgets)."

IT freaks? I think u need to choose a better adjective. Next exhibition, PC Show @ Suntec, 11th-14th June, I'm sure I WILL BE THERE!! Maybe get a new laptop or a netbook.

Amazing crowd even b4 u stepped into Suntec. This is Citylink Mall

Ho ho..

Somehow, i'm glad i didn't go..

Horrendous
