Valentines' Day

Went back to camp this morning after knowing my off application wasn't approved. Heck, I don't even understand why they do that cos I never really did anything in camp today either. Settled some ORD stuff with my Platoon Commander n everything is clearer now after all the details were being finalized. My last ever regimental duty as a soldier will be next Tuesday, the 21^st February. It's all coming to an end, everyone is so happy now.

Today is the 14^th, Valentines' Day. So here I am blogging at home, no valentines date, no one to go out with. Sad huh? This day will always be the time when singles feel the most lonely, cos of the huge amount of couples n roses u see on the street. To me, I think Valentines' Day is overhyped. Sending roses n teddy bears, n having expensive dinners, can't these be done everyday? Has it gotta be THIS day that only u'll do these things?

In my opinion, everyday can be a valentines' day for a couple. That made me have this mindset that Valentines’ Day is actually "Spending Day". I bet all the florists n restaurants are earning big bucks during this day every year.

I'm in the mood for love, but the love of my life is probably gone...

Better sleep early today, I'll be driving again tmr. Wish all of my friends who are attached a Happy Valentines' Day.
