The Painful Massage

The Painful Massage

I went for another physiotherapy session again today at SGH. Hehe, I saw the cute physiotherapist that attended to me last week, but she didn't attend to me today. My usual physiotherapist was around n apologized for her application of MC last week. Haha, it's fine to me of cos. She seemed a little changed today. Her mood was slightly lighter n she smiled more at me. Maybe it was due to my morning appointment rather than in the late noon this time round.

Did the usual stuff today at the rehabilitation centre. However, my akle was being strapped with an extra 3 pound weight to further strengthen my left leg muscles. A check by her confirmed that my leftie muscles are still smaller than my right. BOO...! When will it be equal again? She urged me to go for the gym n work out my solely on my left leg.

Lastly, she did a massage on my left thigh to loosen the tight band of muscles. Sheesh, the massage was freaking painful as she was rubbing her knuckles on my thigh. Ouch~!! That summed up the whole session. I gonna see her again next Wednesday for another session.

The weather was very good today. Scorching sun but windy. So I headed down to Bedok Reservoir again to have a look at my TPJC juniors train. When I got there, the kayaks were still on the boat racks n I didn't see anyone coming to train. It was only then I know from my sis they had a school road run at East Coast Park today. Trip wasted u might think. Nope, I won't juz go home like that. Haha, I cycled again n had a mild tan, followed by a series of short 10metre sprints.

The sprints felt good. I didn't go full force of cos, maybe only 70%, cos I'm afraid of injuring myself again. I haven't felt that flying feeling for a damn long time. The thumping sound I made on the gravel ground when I sprint gave me the high n made me wanting for more, but I have to know my limits. I think I did around 10 sprints n decided that's all I gonna work my knee. There isn't any reaction, which is a damn good sign. Slowly, I'll be back to my best. My stamina sucks now, I'm worse than a tortoise. Bleah...

I'm going back to camp tmr for a ORD body check up. 35 more days to ORD.
