How weird.. I’m dreaming of a WHITE Christmas, but it started raining very heavily in the wee hours of 3am this morning. Yeah, it was so cold, I had to hide under my blanket the whole night. It’s more like WET Christmas here in Singapore. I’m fine with it, at least this feels more like Christmas now, than a hot n sunny day. I bet everyone is totally shack out after partying till early hours during Christmas Eve.
Heh, not me. I did not party, I slept. Haha, how uneventful. I was watching Ocean’s Eleven on Channel 5 on my bed alone at home. I remember it was 11.30pm when I last looked at the clock. When I woke up, it was already 12.20am in the morning! Heh, I missed the countdown. So ya, I slept thru 12am, how exciting huh?
Mum went for her mahjong game, sis went for the countdown at Orchard Rd n Dad drove to dunno where. So there I was, with my PC as company. Played NFS almost the whole night. Had no idea what time dad n mum came back, but sis only juz got home, with that exhausted face. Heh, I’m the 1st to wake up this morning. Ha, cos I had the most sleep!
It wasn’t so rosy at the countdown in Orchard Road though. A friend of mine was complaining about how chaotic it was.
The worst of all were the Banglahs (Singaporeans associate Banglahs as foreign workers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh), a humongous group of them. They swamped the whole area in front of the Wisma stage, doing all sorts of stunts, making that particular area jammed like shit. I pity the kids, many of them could hardly breathe n were stepped on, on uncountable occasions. Some of them even vomited due to difficulty in breathing. As usual, females were the ones being taken advantage of(u get what I mean, groping incidents). Many fights broke out too. Eh, do u call this a celebration?
I think I’m better off staying at home. How I wish I can spend Christmas Eve with her, but I guess I don’t have such a chance.
So, once again, I would like to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS~!
