I had a ghostly experience juz now. Sheesh, I now know what’s the meaning of cold feet. On my way returning the rented DVDs, I saw this long hair lady. I was cycling on a dark pathway n had to slow down to avoid hitting her. Riding behind her, I saw her long dry hair. She was wearing a black long dress n carrying a RED bag. The most eerie thing was the way she walks. She was walking in fast small steps, dragging her shoes along the way. Imagine this scene: Long hair lady, black long dress, fast but small steps, creating an eerie shoe dragging sound n her arms staying by her side without swaying like normal people do while walking. No, she’s definitely not young as I can see long streaks of white hair.
WTF?? I juz zoomed past her without turning my head to see her face. I was totally freaked out. My heart was pumping as fast as a Formula 1 racing car. I had to stop at a traffic light n wait for the green man. Then, I could hear the dragging sound coming nearer n nearer. Fuck, I juz sped off when the green man finally lighted up. I could barely control my bike as my hands were shivering slightly. I had to stop n calm myself down before I could continue riding.
Thinking about it now still gives me the goosebumps. Shucks, was that a human? If she is, then she must me the freakiest human on earth. It’s the 7th month now, I think she better not come out at night.
Monday tmr, book in day. Mop Manning week between 23rd to 30th August. It means when a call come, u must report to camp within 2hrs. I bet the call will come during next weekend la. I hate this, I have to pack my fieldpack (the big bags u see recruits carrying when they bk out from Tekong) liao. It will be a 5-day week for this week. Haha, I haven’t had such long week in camp for a long time. For the past month or so, I’ve had a day or 2 of off days per week.
