Creative incurs 1st loss in 3 years.

I couldn't sleep last night when i book in. For some unknown reason, i started thinking abt her again. Lying on the bed at 10, i only managed to fall asleep at 11.30. Oh well, i got woken up by the noisy rain early in the morning at Seletar. *Pitter Patter Pitter Patter* at 4am. Then i finally decided to dump my bed n wash up at 5am. I didn't run the 15km, so i was assigned to handle the breakfast of my company. I think i'm fast becoming a food coordinator rather than a chemical trained pioneer.

Watched last night's Channel U 10pm drama (recorded). At the last part of the show, there was an interesting quote. It says: Love is like taking a train, once u miss it, u're not gonna get it back. You can wait for the next train, but it will not go to the same destination as the previous one. Hai.. i caught the 1st train n the destination looked beautiful. Unfortunately, i got thrown out of the train halfway thru my journey. Now i'm being left alone on the tracks, unsure of my next step. All i'm doing now is keep walking, hoping i can reach a train station soon n have a rest. Will i ever see the 1st train again? Or will there ever be another train to bring me somewhere else? I have absolutely no idea, juz continue walking...

Many big news on the papers today ah. 1st up, Creative Technology Ltd recorded loss of US$31.9m in the quarter ended June. Its share prices dropped 50cents ystd, n remained unchanged today to close at $12.00. Hmm, Mr Sim, u have to buck up. I'm your supporter, screw Apple Inc! Next, NS call-ups are being cut to 10yrs!!! WOOHOO~~!! Haha, no more reservist by 31. Wah, my NS life has been peppered by so many incidents. The 3 robbers landed in Tekong, the 5-day week, the shortened national service n my unit's introduction of an extra $200 risk allowance. Lastly, oil prices set a new record at US$66 per barrel, IT WAS ONLY US$65 YSTD!@@!. Gosh, when the hell will it stop rising?

Slack for the rest of the day away after booking out. Went bedok blk85 after dinner for a gathering supper. Jessica is going back to the US soon, may be the last time seeing her. Awww~ Haha, I would have regained my civilian status the next time she comes back. I’m looking forward to it. Tomorrow is a very important day. Why? It’s the start of the new English Premier League season. YES! Finally.. I’ll be backing my beloved Liverpool FC as usual. I won’t ask much, juz do better than Manchester United n I’ll be happy. I can’t stand the manure supporters; arrogance is a very kind word to describe them. I wun expect LFC to win the European Cup again this season la. But anything is possible in football isn’t it?
